All humans share the same basic human rights, especially the right not to be killed or subjected to violence. Since unborn children are human, and abortion intentionally takes their lives, abortion is a human rights violation.

We're on a mission to make that truth evident and make abortion unthinkable in Michigan.
EXPANDING HUMAN RIGHTS TO ALL HUMANS
Our Abortion Argument
01
02
Do you believe in human rights?
Sounds like a silly question, right? But it is still a vital question to ask. Do you believe there are some rights that exist that are fundamental to being a human? If so, would you agree that one of the most basic rights that humans have should be the right to live free from violence and killing?
Who should get human rights?
Another silly question, right? However, keep in mind that one of the things humanity has consistently been able to do is identify one group of humans who are different than the rest of us and treat them as lesser humans. Historically, we have abused human rights based on race, gender, orientation, religion, and wealth.

So, when we ask "who should get human rights?" we want to be sure we're in agreement: all humans should share in equal human rights.
03
Then, isn't abortion a human rights violation?
If we agree that all humans are entitled to equality & human rights, and those rights should include the right to be free from violence, then doesn't it follow that abortion violates human rights?

The unborn are human (as confirmed by 96% of biologists), and abortion violently ends their life prematurely. Therefore, abortion is a form of violent injustice against younger and weaker humans. That is why it must end.
The Case Against Abortion
The reason we oppose abortion is simple: all humans deserve to be treated without violence. Abortion is a form of violence that is perpetrated against the youngest and weakest of all humans. Therefore, it is a human rights injustice and must be stopped.

We strive to see human rights expanded to include all humans, including the youngest humans.
On the Safety of Women
Every pro-life organization is clear and united on this: women's lives need not be at risk when abortion is restricted. That is why every abortion restriction has always included exceptions for life-saving medical care for the woman, as well as for treatment for miscarriage, cancer, etc.

Women's lives are protected under pro-life laws.
